Jaw Surgery Update

Its been forever since i said anything about my jaw surgery and i can say i finally was able to successfully switch to a new insurance company just for this mess and so i let my oral surgeon's office know right before July 4th 2017 that i got my new insurance plan and they were going to start the process to see if they would accept or deny to pay for my surgery and it would take 2 weeks for them to accept it or deny it. I gave it about 2 weeks and by the end of last month i finally caved in and called to see what was going on i got the most exciting news ever my insurance company accepted to pay for my Surgery and so i was going to be able to have a date for surgery but i have to do it in person with my oral surgeon so i had it scheduled for last week and got all excited about it and i get a call from his office and the lady told me that my oral surgeon has been trying to get a hold of my orthodontist and can't get a hold of him and she told me it wouldn't be worth it to come in until my oral surgeon talks to my orthodontist so we won't be able to schedule your surgery until he talks to your orthodontist. That killed my excitement i hung up after i talked to her and instantly cried trying to figure out reasons why when my orthodontist has told me for a few months now when ever you schedule your date for surgery with your oral surgeon please let me know. I was in tears i am so sick of this waiting game i just want it fixed already and get this over with and i felt like okay i'll just give up now. I've been waiting for this forever when really its been almost 4 years. The lady also told me on the phone my oral surgeon will continue to try to get a hold of my orthodontist. I can give up but i know that this is what needs to be done. I am so close to having a date for surgery. Its becoming more and more of a reality now. I'm ready for this. :) just gotta stay strong and keep my head up in this and keep positive. :)
