Yesterday I spent almost the whole day studying about Disorders kids have its pretty sad and they won't realize they have a disorder until they get older. Not that I'm going to be a Special Ed Teacher or anything relating to this subjuct. It just brought my attention after I heard what my Brothers friend deals with.
SPD
Its basically a Disorder called Sensory Processing Disorder. It's where the child has outburst of throwing fits she/he cant stand wearing clothes. They only can stand wearing certain clothes or they pretty much rather just not wear clothes at all. The child pretty much throws a fit and rips off his or her clothes sitting in their undwear. They cant stand wearing a seatbelt. They have trouble with instructions and directions and learning at school. He/she will never grow out of this and as a baby they basically hate being held or cuddled they arch their backs while you hold them they go into hyptheria also if a group of people surround them it causes hyptheria. Thats pretty sad. They need treatment by seeing a phycologist and they end up going to Hospitals and they have to be on medicine and when they get older since they never grow out of this they will have to learn how to manage it better so they dont have random out burst of fits. From what i read alot of them have bed time issues and they have bath time and brushing problems. I been learning about this alot yesterday She must of been born with it. I am still learning how and why its caused how kids develop this problem its pretty sad they will never grow out of it and i read this one guy had a girlfriend she was in her 20's and she still couldnt stand wearing pants she soon isolated herself so it put a strain on their relationship and its sad cause she wont go anywhere and she also puts a strain on her friendships she has with friends. I rreally feel soo sorry for kids that deal with this along with parents that have to put up with their kids. Also they cant stand wearing shoes or socks they can only stand wearing flip flops or other sandels and cant forget they can get violent with themselfs they will beat them selfs up bite themselfs.
Pauls friend Mckenna struggles with this Disorder she has outburst of throwing fits and she has a hard time learning in school and following instructions and directions. To read and know what she deals with i hope she will be able to deal with a normal everyday life and hope someday she can get this all under control and i hope one day she will be able to wear normal everyday clothes and shoes and socks i feel so sorry for her mom that she has to deal with her like this. Im glad im not this type of person id hated to be that type of person. Im glad paul doesnt have this Disorder but it only means that he will need to be a friend and be there for her no matter what happens we teach paul not to Judge people just cause of their problems and to like them for them and be a good friend and support them through it all. My moms glad she doesnt have a child like Mckenna to deal with and I told my mom about this and she said oh my gosh thats sad to know that Mckenna's mom has to deal with Mckenna like this everyday. But its good thing she's getting help for her problem and when She gets to high school i hope she will be able to change what she wears everyday. Wearing dresses everyday would get me annoyed. Especially with the cold weather coming I hope she will be able to somehow keep herself warm. But im glad i was able to learn about this Disorder that kids have and will never grow out of is something interesting.
When paul gets older we will have to explain to him why mckenna has this Disorder. So he can fully understand why. Unless Mckenna knows what she has and told paul about it already.
